Processes

Soffits

First, we wrap soffits with drywall. Then we carefully install corner beads. This is followed by detailed mudding before the prime is applied.

Drywall and suspended ceiling

The mission of this job was organizing different trades and getting the project done well and on time.  First, we hung the drywall and applied the mudding. After this, we primed and painted the first coat. The next day, we installed the acoustical drywall, and then applied the last coat of paint.

Drywall against the concrete

This kind of job requires a very special process to get a good match between the drywall and the concrete. It is very important to be careful and make a smooth transition connecting the exposed concrete or brick to where the drywall ends. This entails hanging the drywall and installing it with a plastic border at the end named “tear away”. These little details are very important and make a great difference, giving the work a clean and professional finish.

Patch Work

First, we remove all the damaged drywall. Kilz is then sprayed and left to dry killing all the mold. Then new insulation (if necessary) and drywall are installed. Taping, mudding and sanding follow. The final step is to prime and paint.
